Basalt, CO December 2024 Real Estate Summary

In 2024, timing played a crucial role in the Basalt real estate market. Average sales peaked at $5.1M in March, dipped to $2.0M in November, then rebounded to $2.7M in December. Despite weak November sales, 2024 finished 24.5% higher year over year, and up 41% year to date.

Through 2024 there were 52 new homes to market while only 35 were sold. However, sales were strong in the 4th quarter and inventory finished the year 15 available single family homes.
